Exit Slip is a very messy, unpolished album. The lyrics are cringey and the piano in 'Mom, Don't Take This Personally' was literally recorded on a laptop mic. I'm not proud of it anymore, even though it was only recorded/released like 7 months ago. Honestly, I've thought about just taking it down, but I haven't because more than anything, Exit Slip was a learning experience to me. Also, it's the first thing I ever wrote and the first thing we recorded as a band, so while it may be kinda shit, it's important to me.
TL;DR: Exit Slip is bad and you should listen to Cassette Tape instead, but I'm sentimental so I'm not taking it down.
